Ingredients

  • 500g strong white bread flour
  • 7g instant yeast
  • 10g salt
  • 30g sugar
  • 40g butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 250ml warm water
  • 30ml milk
  • Sesame seeds

Directions

  • Mix flour, yeast, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  • Add butter, egg, water, and milk. Mix to form a dough.
  • Knead for 10 minutes until smooth.
  • Cover and let rise until doubled in size.
  • Divide into 8 pieces, shape into balls, and place on a baking tray.
  • Cover and let rise again until doubled.
  • Brush with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake at 200°C for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
